Raised as Clark Kent by human adoptive parents Jonathan and Martha Kent in Smallville, Kansas, the Kryptonian gains incredible powers from the Sun's yellow light. Inspired to heroism by Jor-El and Lara's farewell message, three years ago Clark debuted as Superman, the most powerful metahuman. As Clark he is a reporter for the Daily Planet in Metropolis alongside Jimmy Olsen and Lois Lane. He recently began a relationship with Lois, who knows Clark's secret identity.
